HydroTech’s Mentor-Protege agreement with Granite Monument to SBA’s success

This year, the SBA is struggling to find it’s usual budget as companies like AIG and CitiGroup are
“hogging all the money”. According to
The Street, The SBA has seen a
“7% uptick in the SBA’s counseling services, such as the mentor/protege program in which a big company takes a disadvantaged firm under its wing so the two can compete for government contracts together. Granite Construction(GVA Quote) last month agreed to mentor contractor HydroTech Inc.”
The success of the SBA lies in it’s vast resources- “1,400 individuals at 68 field offices across the country”.
